Quicky!

Hey All,

This is a quick post to let you all know that Markus and I are both alive and well. I had typed out a nice long post but, sadly, I lost that post to the never, never world of the web. Obviously, I'm a rookie at the helm of the blogger.

In other news, Markus and I have been pleasantly surprised three times this week to find we have real mail!!!!! ( real mail = not the Canadian Tire Mag or bills) Receiving mail has always been a highlight for me but up here it is like Christmas every time. Christine (and Crew) the chocolates arrived in excellent condition. MMMMMMMmmmm. Thank-You. Now we just have to figure out how to ration ourselves to make them last as long as possible. Gerti I also received the second snow suit. Those two boxes will be crucial in a couple of months. Chocolate and Snow suits, what more can a girl living in the North ask for??

Cheers!

Hi you both, nice to hear that the chocolate has arrived. Großmama and Großpapa will send you
m o r e! (This is the answer to your question what you should ask for: more chocolate, more coffee, more pretzels!) How is the weather? Here it is very sunny, very warm. We have a lot of fruits from the garden.
Gertie, I don`t remember my first lesson, brain wasn`t working. And I was wondering to read in Daniel`s blog you sold your Alpacas! I think you are thinking about your future life (grandma`s life?!?) and in about two or three years an elderly lady with a purple hat is living near Toronto!
Bye for now and have a nice day,
Christine.

Hey you guys,

glad the snowsuits made it. Do you need them yet? In Dryden we sure don't. Today it was 27C again.
Well Christine, I am wearing those purple T-Shirts already. I am practicing. I just thought right now is a great time to sell because I had 5 free minutes, I had to use the time. Now I am on the computer, writing out all those healthrecords that are on a million little note pads. Oh well, I am almost done.
I got a little taste of freedom and I like it a lot. Just imagine, Christine I could come just for a weekend or so, or for Ringloseason and help make jam. Or I could go to Australia, play with the kangaroos, to Alaska to catch Norther Lights, possibilities are unlimited. Which reminds me, we have to make plans for next year, what you guys want to see when you come over.
Well, I better get back to those records. I want to finish one more today.
Take care everybody, talk to you soon

Love Mom/Gerti
